Unpolished Ebony Carved Wood Fulani African Woman Head - Guinea
This hand-carved ebony bust is of a woman of the Fulani tribe in Guinea, West Africa. The tribal identity of the woman is determined primarily by her hair style which is characteristic of the Fulani people, whose hairstyles are well-known among African people and the variety of which is legendary.
WHY ZUEDI CHOSE IT · DESIGNER’S NOTE
This small carved bust deserves an intentional display and clear attribution. I would set it at eye level on a shelf with a little empty space, keeping its documented origin alongside its story.
PAIR IT WITH
